Aurelien Guichard of Givaudan crafted Eros to capture the timeless allure of the Versace DNA, blending fresh, woody, and slightly oriental notes. The fragrance opens with invigorating mint oil, green apple, and Italian lemon, evoking a sense of vitality and freshness. Warmth and depth are imparted by tonka, Venezuelan ambroxan, and geranium flowers, adding a fougere twist to the composition.

The turquoise glass flacon of Eros features the iconic head of Medusa, symbolizing power and allure, both on the body of the bottle and its cap. Available as a 100 ml Eau de Toilette, Eros is accompanied by perfumed body care products to enhance the experience.

The face of the advertising campaign is Brian Shimansky, portrayed by photographers Mert & Marcus. Donatella Versace envisioned a modern-day gladiator for the campaign, representing a man who fearlessly pursues his goals and defends his ideals.
